We started Kind Ice Cream in 2019 with the hope of creating an ice cream shop that really felt part of the neighbourhood. From our very first days in Ritchie, our goal has been to build a friendly place where everyone is welcome to gather, make memories, and enjoy exceptionally good ice cream. Thanks to the incredible support of our city, we’ve added shops in Highlands and Wîhkwêntôwin and recently started a solar-powered summer pop-up shop, Bestie Ice Cream. 

Our team has a ridiculous amount of fun dreaming up new flavours, connecting with our neighbours, and serving up ice cream all year long. As a women, queer, and Indigenous-owned business, we believe it’s good to be different, and we honour diversity both in our shops and in the wider community.
