Our Assistant Store Managers play an integral role in carrying our mission and filtering everything through it. They help to develop and support the team, while providing consistent feedback. Assistant Store Managers are responsible for the daily store operations and people management alongside the Store Managers. ASMs demonstrate excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities. They are models of exceptional customer service.

This Assistant Store Manager position opening is for our Kind Ice Cream Ritchie location.

Responsibilities and Expectations,

• Display positivity, passion and enthusiasm for Kind Ice Cream

• Model and maintain our standards of professionalism, kindness, and respect 

• Meet regularly with Store Manager to align expectations and goals 

• Provide clear, specific, timely and respectful coaching and feedback to staff 

• Model highest standard of customer service

• Support with building and managing the staff schedule, ensuring shifts are well covered and labour targets are met

• Ensure all cones, pints, and scoops are up to our quality standards

• Oversee team training with Store Manager 

• Participate and contribute in monthly management meetings

• Ensure the shop is always clean, equipment is in good working order and any maintenance issues are brought forward to Store Manager 

• Display a solution oriented mindset 

• Adapt to new protocols in a timely manner

• Ensure staff are up to date and following through with new shop protocols 

• Ensure staff have accurate flavour descriptions and information

• Help Store Manager to achieve labour targets 

Availability

This is a full-time role with shifts across weekdays and weekends, days and evenings.
